  1. Features new to DirX 1.05 (07/20/91):

  3. - Improved support for network use.  File are opened in sharing mode in DOS
  4.   3.0 and above.
  5.  
  6. - Keyboard reads have been changed from DOS to BIOS calls so that keyboard
  7.   reassignments at the DOS level (function keys, for example) won't
  8.   conflict with DirX's own command keys.
  9.  
  10. - The syntax for DIRX.CFG has been extended.  Previously, the program
  11.   simply appended the target filename to whatever commands were defined in
  12.   DIRX.CFG.  Now more flexible command lines may be specified which
  13.   incorporate multiple filenames and switches in various positions.

  15.   A new *sample* DIRX.CFG has been included in the distribution archive
  16.   which incorporates the new syntax.

  18. Features new to DirX 1.04 (07/14/91):

  20. - Support has been added for EGA/43- and VGA/50-line modes.  Actually the
  21.   program will attempt to adjust to various text-mode screen depths up to a
  22.   maximum of 50 lines.

  24. - You may now hot-key the drive letters in the Change-drive option.
  25.   Previously, after pressing Alt-<F1> or Alt-<F2>, you had to position the
  26.   highlight over the drive letter then press <Return> to change drives.
  27.   Now from within this option, typing the letter of the drive will
  28.   accomplish this more directly.

  30. - The command-line syntax of DirX has been changed to allow for three new
  31.   switches:

  33.      Usage:  DIRX [switches] [d:][path][filespec] [switches]

  36.              -a:  display Alternate info
  37.              -b:  force Black-and-white mode
  38.              -c:  force Color mode
